The minecraft enchantment Riptide was introduced in the 1.13 update, also called update aquatic.

The Riptide enchantment can be put on a trident, which can usually be thrown. But with this enchantment it can now fling you a far distance as long you are in water and are wearing an elytra.

The riptide trident can also be used when it is raining.
